  • Could outputs infringe copyright or trade secrets?
  • Are database rights relevant to the data used?

  • Could the system disadvantage a protected group?
  • Has non-discrimination and equality law been considered, not only privacy law?
  • Is there a credit, lending, housing, employment or insurance angle?

Consumer protection and liability

  • Could the system's outputs be read as a claim or advice?
  • Is there a product liability or professional negligence angle?
  • Are sector-specific or procurement rules relevant here?
